Artisans Emporio – Handicraft-Handloom-Handmade in Delhi

Oct 14, 2017 | Handicraft, Shopping, Sponsored

Yup it is time folks!

“An Empty place is a story waiting to happen and we are the author.”

Our Project of Artisans Emporio invites and allows to share their artifacts. Inspired by the countryside artisans, it is an invitation to create a direct link between the artisans of handicrafts, handmade jewelry, handlooms and textiles made for everyone. It is a way to connect India to the world of innovations and creations.

WE MAKE THINGS WITH LOVE.”

India is a country of variety – variety in topography, languages, culture, food, clothing, art, music and festivals. We celebrate a host of festivals that are national, religious or regional in nature.  One festival that binds the whole country is Deepawali. In fact, Deepawali has moved overseas and believe you me, it is a public holiday in many countries overseas. No wonder it deserves all the lights, mithais and gifts that we stomach or handle J

Talking of gifts, we are spoilt for choice this season. A host of malls, markets and stores are raining discounts and offers. They are all dressed up and are crying out to you and me. The items they offer are crafty, foody or functional but gifty. We have also written about popular Diwali fairs and exhibitions that have a host of items that aim to cover all our Diwali requirements. And this post is also about gifts but with a cause. Artisans Emporio has been holding up the cause for traditional artisans and Indian handicrafts for all of us.

Artisans Emporio is a store that brings forth handcrafted products and articles that cater from regular usage items to special gifts. It is there way to connect India to the world of innovations and creations. They have scoured various corners of India and their repertoire is reflective of the vast variety that Indian handicrafts are known for across the globe.  It is this sensibility and approach towards the skilled weavers and countryside artisans that has formed Artisans Emporio. To name a few, they have Bangaru prints, fine block printed textiles, meenakari works, Rajasthani work and ivory carvings, lacquer, filigree work, delicately cut precious stones, traditional printing, exquisite enamelled jewelleries, wood , metal and marble stones.  These are in the form of boxes, pen holders, table ornaments, chimes, clocks and coasters.

And that is not all. They also store an exquisite collection of women’s wear in traditional designs and as well as contemporary cuts.  Linen and bed wear in various block prints, appliqués and cut work can add a lot of character to your homes as well as make statement gift pieces.

In fact, they have collaborated with philanthropic organizations to promote their cause.  CRY (Child Relief and You) has been working with them and promoting the cause of Indian artifacts and our craftsmen and artisans. And we quote them on this:

Kudos we say to Artisans Emporio – their cause and endeavours. Be it decorative or utility items, they seem to have it. Gifts or own consumption, try Artisans Emporio.  Diwali is a lot about sharing. When you buy an article from Artisans Emporio, you share the happiness with all those thousands of craftsmen in India fighting for survival of their craft.

These days they are exhibiting at:
Ten Style Mile, The Qutub Tiffin,
Haven Villa, Near Qutub Minar,
Mehrauli, New Delhi -110030.
Phone: 9971796663.

In this process, Artisans Emporio makes your festival a bigger Fun-do.
