Elma’s Brasserie

 Elma's Brasserie

After dinner at Juneja’s at Meher Chand Market, Lodhi Colony we were looking for some nice place for tea and dessert. We chanced upon the newly opened, still under construction Elma’s Brasserie.

We had been to Elma’s Bakery in Hauz Khas Village and loved their stuff. Thinking it might be their new branch, we were sure of good tea and desserts.

It’s a small place with a few tables on the ground floor. They are working on seating arrangement upstairs as well. The place smelt of freshly painted walls. Till then we didn’t know if the place was owned by the same people at Hauz Khas Village but we were sure, once we ate at Elma’s Brasserie.

Since it was still under construction they had very limited amount of desserts available. From what was displayed, we went for a Carrot Cake along with Earl Gray Tea. The carrot cake looked extremely sumptuous. A small sugar carrot on top of the icing of the cake made it look heavenly. The cake was very fresh and delicious. Elma’s stuff is a little higher on price but definitely worth the money.

The tea was also blended to perfection.

We had a little chit chat with the owner too. She showed us the new menu they are coming up with. Unlike Elma’s, Hauz Khas they are planning to introduce a whole lot of lunch and dinner options along with tea and bakery items.

We’re sure to visit them again to try out their new menu.
