Indians are forever ready to celebrate.  We are yet to get over Diwali and Christmas is knocking on the door.  People are already looking out for Christmas celebrations in Delhi.  To this end we have already attended a cake mixing ceremony at Park Plaza hotel.

We loved the Oz Haat Charity Mela last year and were quite excited this year too. The day long event was a collection of stalls that sold Christmas décor and related items, clothes and winterwear, crafts, home décor items, food/beverages  and to extend the festive cheer – mugs of beer.

The visitors comprised of families with children both locals and expats. It was surprising to see such a high turnout for this little known event.

There is no entry fee for this fair. It is indeed among the fun things to do in Delhi for Christmas. However it is inside a high security zone and entails few rounds of frisking. It is sensible to carry an id while attending the fair. Also it’s a one day event so there is a high possibility that you blink and you miss it!

Merry Christmas readers!
