Eggs to non vegetarians are what potatoes are to vegetarians. One can cook it in 100s of ways, combine it with different things to make something new every time.

Exploiting the versatility of eggs to its fullest Rahul egg corner ( Located right below Keshav Puram metro station ) has created an extensive range of dishes made using eggs. They claim to have more than 300 egg dishes in their kitty.

Going by our gut feeling and fancy names, we ordered Sp. Tandoori Jalandhari, Monaco and Soy chops omlettes. All three items were pretty likeable and unique in their own way. We have never had something similar to any of these. Though we enjoyed whatever we ordered we wonder why Tandoori Jalandhari tasted a little like pizza? We don’t expect oregano sprinkled on top of something that is called Tandoori Jalandhari 🙂

Monaco was like small French toasts with toppings. Soy Omlette were chops covered and cooked in egg coating. Quite delicious.

Another thing that we noticed was that almost all dishes looked alike. This is a dampener for sure. Just like aroma, the presentation of a dish also helps in exciting the taste buds. But here every dish we ordered looked the same. I wish they do something about making their dishes look different from one another.

All said and done we’re happy that North (or North West) Delhi offers something unique like Rahul eggs. We can’t wait to try their other dishes.
