The Ambassador of Italy Lorenzo Angeloni addressed the audience and spoke about amity and cultural exchange between India and Italy. 14th Mahindra Excellence in Theatre Awards (META), 2019 concluded with a grand awards night. Kamani Auditorium was full to the brim with META team, META jury, actors and theatre lovers to watch this annual extravaganza. The event had a star studded setting what with luminaries from the field of theatre coming together for the love of the art. Ila Arun, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Sushma Seth, Swaroopa Ghosh and many other thespians were on the Red Carpet for the META finale.

META is a competition and we had watched one of contenders, “Bhagi Hui Ladkiyan” at American Centre a while back. Celeb Chef Osama Jalali is hosting Gharana – E – Rampur or the Rampur Food Festival here from 1st to 10th March 2019. He has been camping in the hotel and under the strict eyes of his mother, he is cooking selection of dishes from the Nawabi cuisine of Rampur, Uttar Pradesh. It is Mughlai food. Yet not quite.
