The Art Gallery of Embassy of Peru recently gave collaborations a different connotation. They hosted Latin American and Caribbean food festival at this venue. We were a little wary about how to deal with this invite. About seven different cuisines were to be served under the same roof and they were competing for the best country in terms of food. Italian National Day was celebrated at the Embassy of Italy, New Delhi. We were invited to an evening reception organized to mark the event. The Ambassador of Italy Lorenzo Angeloni addressed the audience and spoke about amity and cultural exchange between India and Italy. 14th Mahindra Excellence in Theatre Awards (META), 2019 concluded with a grand awards night. Kamani Auditorium was full to the brim with META team, META jury, actors and theatre lovers to watch this annual extravaganza. The event had a star studded setting what with luminaries from the field of theatre coming together for the love of the art. Ila Arun, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Sushma Seth, Swaroopa Ghosh and many other thespians were on the Red Carpet for the META finale.

Celeb Chef Osama Jalali is hosting Gharana – E – Rampur or the Rampur Food Festival here from 1st to 10th March 2019. He has been camping in the hotel and under the strict eyes of his mother, he is cooking selection of dishes from the Nawabi cuisine of Rampur, Uttar Pradesh. It is Mughlai food. Yet not quite.
