We were invited to try out vrat thali at Punjab Grill. The outlet of Punjab Grill we chose was located on the third floor of Select Citywalk Mall in Saket. This was a fixed platter with a host of items and a holy burp is inevitable after the heavy meal.

Bollywood Music Project, a two day long music festival was organised by Bhutani group and had partners like Hungama and Radio Mirchi. The venue was Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium and marquees were erected on JLN grounds. It look like a grand carnival from a distance.

Loretta – An Aadyam play in Bharat Rang Mahotsav 2017
Loretta, a play by Sunil Shanbag and a part of Aditya Birla Group’s theatre initiative Aadyam was also staged during NSD’s Bharat Rang Mahotsav. This was a musical with songs in Konkani and English. Musicals are still a rare breed in Indian theater and we were very excited.
Natural – ice cream at Lajpat Nagar this summer
Natural has opened its latest outlet at Lajpat Nagar just beside the metro station. We visited this after a long round of chores in the area. It looked beautiful from the glass walls outside. Read on for an account of our experience.
Concert at RIMPA – Bikram Ghosh and Arushi Mudgal
Ravi Shankar Centre for Arts celebrated the 97th birth anniversary of the late Guru through a series of classical concerts at their premise. We attended a tabla concert by Bikram Ghosh and dance performance by Arushi Mudgal at their open air venue. It was a delightful experience.
The Grub Fest in Delhi
The Grub Fest, apparently India’s biggest food festival, came back to Delhi NCR once again this 14th – 19th March at JLN Stadium. To keep Delhites well fed and entertained, the festival brought together some of the most popular restaurants offering their signature drinks and dishes over some music, dance, games and contests. Our favorite beer brand Witlinger was the official Pouring Partner of The Grub Fest. Grub Fest keeps coming back and we would recommend this event to anyone looking for good times
Sunday Brunch at Latest Recipe – Le Meridien Gurgaon
We ushered in this spring with the Sunday Brunch at Latest Recipe by Le Meridien, Gurgaon. The wonderful live singing and the sunlight swept interiors made for a very relaxed setting. The buffet was booked through Gourmet Passport App and we availed their wonderful Buy 1 Get 1 Deal.
Purab Rang – Hindustani concerts on Bismillah’s birth centenary
“Son Chiraiya”, an organization promoting the music of the east has organised a lovely ensemble of music to celebrate the centenary of Ustad Bismillah Khan, the shehnai star. Girija Devi on vocals and Rajen Prasanna on shehnai respectively performed on the inaugural evening. Many more maestros take stage in the next couple of days in an absolutely fantastic musical journey.

Affimity is an online network that brings about people with common interests together. They have a host of channels covering various areas of life – food, parenting, technology and are expanding. We just opened and account here and sifted this platform to gage the experience.
Poetry Slam in Urdu
Urdu poetry and shayari have many takers in Delhi NCR. A Poetry Slam covering Urdu couplets was recently organised at Defence Colony. The informal evening was a most refreshing experience. We look forward to more such events.
