Hence we attend documentary screenings whenever possible. In this series we recently watched the National Award winning documentary “I Cannot Give You My Forest”.

India On My Plate, a part of Fortune Select Excalibur, Sohna Road has recently put up a lot of hoardings that got us curious. This was obviously before the rain disaster in that area and we visited this restaurant for brunch on a recent Saturday. Do try to get a table beside the glass wall since it offers a nice view.
Asia Alive at DoubleTree by Hilton Gurgaon
Buffets are good for people who liked variety in a meal. The trick is to sift through the elaborate spread and pick items of ones liking. Since there is always something for everyone in the party, we like buffet meals. We recently visited Asia Alive at DoubleTree by Hilton Gurgaon to try out their buffet.

“No Hunger Week” with Charity/Unwrapped
“No Hunger Week” aims at minimising the food wastage by partnering with various food joints across Delhi, from 1st – 7th August. Apart from restaurant owners, the campaign is geared towards people who have been eating out, to donate their leftovers at ‘The Leftover Cart’. All food collected is to be distributed to the homeless across Delhi.
Ping’s Café Orient – Review
Of late, Delhi has awesome weather and one wants to be outdoor even during the day. This makes us adventurous and experimental and try out new places for Saturday lunch. We had decided to watch a documentary at India Habitat Centre last Saturday evening. Therefore, we chose Ping’s Café Orient, that is walkable from IHC, as our lunch venue.
Iranian Film Festival 2016
The four day Iranian film festival that the Directorate of film festivals, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting organized at Sirifort Auditorium celebrates the long history of cultural sharing between India and Iran. Iranian cinema has a documentary feel to it. Bereft of any effort to window dress or glamourise a plot, sets or casts, it is an authentic portrayal of the lives, dreams and aspirations of the average Iranian. We therefore find Iranian films most alluring.
Wagh Bakri Greater Kailash (GK) – We raise our cups
Our exploration for new tea places continues. Being huge fans of Wagh Bakri tea lounges, we recently visited their outlet at GK. Tea is our “chicken soup for the soul” and hence we did not mind the extra drive to reach this place. Located in the GK M Block Market, this place needs a little bit of figuring out. Number 8 – Restaurant and Bar in Sunder Nagar
Sunder Nagar is a little off the way for us. But when we were told about this new resto-bar Number 8 in the rather sleepy Sunder Nagar, we thought it was worth a shot. Hence, to ring in the last weekend, we decided to visit this place and put up a review.

Informal is an outlet by the guys who own Imperfecto. Given our great experience at Imperfecto, we decided to visit Informal and try their offerings of Monsoon.
The Coup – At Kiran Nadar Museum of Art
We keep marveling at how the definition of art has broadened over time. Paintings, sculptures, photography have made way to new forms of artwork. Our visits to India Art Fair are now a complete new experience. Kiran Nadar Museum of Art recently organised a talk were the concept of “The Coup” was discussed. Not from politics but from art perspective.
