Nutriobox – Health food home delivered
We wanted to have a break from the regular Indian food that we keep having. We came across Nutriobox who delivers in Gurgaon. The food was somewhat Continental / Thai in nature and their menu had juices, soups, snacks and main courses. We ordered online and were pleasantly surprised with the punctual delivery.
Garam Dharam – multi-cuisine Dhaba on highway
Delhiites are probably the only people in India who started the trend of driving a few hours and several kilometres to eat at a humble dhaba. This style of dining at a dhaba gave birth to multi cuisine fancy new age dhabas like Haveli and Amrik Sukhdev on the highway. The culture has been taken forward by Garam Dharam, a multi cuisine theme based dhaba on NH1.
Vegetarians rejoice – Sagar Ratna has a new outlet in Sarojini Nagar
Sagar Ratna is our go-to place for vegetarian food. In fact, some of our folks are strict vegetarians and this place works very well for them. Sagar Ratna food is vegetarian and in fact even devoid of onions and garlic. We recently visited their latest branch in Delhi NCR located at DLF South Square Mall, Sarojini Nagar.
Everbake – Vegetarian fast food in Shalimar Bagh
North Delhi is a predominately vegetarian area. In addition to restaurants, there are joints and kiosks in every other corner that serve solely vegetarian food. We were recently at Shalimar Bagh to watch Razi and dined at Everbake. Here is what we think of this place.
Imly – Vegetarian restaurant in West Delhi
There is no dearth of vegetarian food options in Delhi NCR. That said, given the number of traditionally vegetarians, occasional vegetarians or converts, there is always room for more. In fact, the new Imly that we visited is like a bus. Located at Rajouri Garden, it was about time we covered this place.

The revamped Golf Course Road in Gurgaon wants to make up for lost time. A plethora of fascinating food and beverage options are opening here. The more the merrier we say. And to entice the whole gamut there is a new restopub Saints n Sinners at Global Foyer Mall. It was Friday evening and we could not wait to try this place.
Food Capital – Food court at Worldmark Aerocity
Aerocity is an oasis in the dry airport area. Till some years ago, this was a barren spot till all the luxury hotels happened here. And to add to the dining experience in this area, now there is a Food Court as well – Food Capital. Located at Worldmark in Aerocity, this is the first in that area.
Sunday Summer Brunch at Westin Gurgaon
Westin Gurgaon has just launched its Sunday brunch at their restaurant Seasonal Tastes. They also have an enticing pool and a dip and drinks are also on offer. It seemed like sheer luxury. Given that we are forever looking out for brunch options, we had to try this.

Tanoshii Trail at GK 1 M Block market brings Japanese, Korean and other Asian food to Delhi folks here. They have a conveyor belt that runs between the kitchen and the tables and carries the food to diners. The belt, as we saw during our visit is a hit with diners lined up to recording its movement.

We land up at a host of new places and get bragging rights for being the first to spread the word. This time it is Café Staywoke at South Point Mall, Gurgaon. They serve continental, no – Indian; no – fusion! Well it is an eclectic dining experience here that is fast catching up among the millennial.
