“Jom” in Malay language means “go”. We are fans of Jom Jom Malay since inception a couple of years back. They are perhaps the only restaurant serving Malay food in Delhi NCR. We were back here last Friday evening to taste Jom Jom Malay’s fine Fri-yay affair.
Ibis Hotels Celebrates Ten Years in India
Ibis is celebrating its 10th anniversary. They have been on Golf Course Road in Gurgaon since a decade. Needless to say they have suffered the revamp mayhem of this place and have survived that. Ottimo the Italian restaurant at ITC Maurya has opened gates for lunch over weekends. Initially serving only dinner, Ottimo is serving lunch on Saturdays and have Sunday brunch, well on Sundays. The restaurant is planning to open all week long for lunch and we can’t be happier about it. Here is why.

Fabelle celebrates Independence Day with a 72 Kg Chocolate
To commemorate our 72nd Independence Day, they crafted a larger than life 72 Kg chocolate bar in each of the 6 metros where the brand is currently available. The bars contained 72 ingredients and were displayed in the chocolate boutiques in select ITC Luxury Hotels in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai and Bengaluru. The sale proceeds from these special bars went to Make-A-Wish Foundation of India
The Great Kabab Factory Celebrates 20 Years
The Great Kabab Factory at Radisson is celebrating its 20th anniversary and has a special menu. The commemorative menu comprises their most popular kababs over the years. Being suckers for kababs, we just had to check this out. While they are running the menu at all their branches, for us, this time it was Radisson Blu Marina Hotel, Connaught Place.

The Wine Company at Cyber Hub, Gurgaon is celebrating its 4th anniversary with a brand refresh and an all new menu curated by celebrity chef Sarah Todd. She was present here last Saturday evening and hosted a wine pairing event over drinks and dinner. We had heard about The Wine Company and given the involvement of Sarah Todd, were expecting a blast.

We have been avid shoppers at Fabindia and have dined at Fab Café, Vasant Kunj. The Kathal (jackfruit) Biryani in quinoa was a new experience. The experience drew us to the newly opened Fab Café at Worldmark 3 mall, Aerocity.
Indonesian Fiesta – Food Festival at Crowne Plaza
We thought we had seen it all, done it all in the food segment. Bingo – there was an invitation from Crowne Plaza, Mayur Vihar for an Indonesian Fiesta on the table. Now this was new! We were all excitement as to what was on the platter.
Hilsa Festival at Oh Calcutta
Ask any seafood fan in India and they would have an opinion on the Hilsa. People in West Bengal swear by their “Ilish”. It is there go-to item for any sort of celebration. We finally got our date with this delicacy in Delhi. Oh Calcutta! CyberHub is hosting “Hilsa Festival” till September 2018 but we couldn’t wait. We just had to do it last weekend.
World Chocolate Day celebration at Fabelle – ITC Maurya
Fabelle at ITC Maurya Hotel recently celebrated World Chocolate Day. They had put together a chocolate Master class followed by a grand buffet lunch at the restaurant Pavilion and high tea. It sounded promising but we wondered whether it was really for us.
