Our chai love has extended to Chaayos love. We are frequenters at Chaayos Hauz Khas Village and occasionally we visit Chaayos SDA market as well.

Chaayos CP is on the mezzanine floor right below Oh MY GOD (OMG). We were there last Friday evening to try their new menu. We ordered Loaded chicken cheese max and Pakora basket. Sitting in Delhi, hot and crisp pakoras are no rarity. Sadly these apparently pre-cooked pakoras were soggy, tasted stale and most insipid. The chicken cheese max was loaded with chillis and given the cheesy topping on Indian curry, had a confused taste.

At this point we felt it may be safer to stick to their old menu. We ordered Napoli sandwich and a chicken wrap. These items were much better. In fact the Chicken wrap was mild in taste and a wholesome meal like dish.

We wound up with slices of lemon cake, blueberry cake and cups of Sab Kuch chai. We preferred the old menu over the new items and our experience here reiterates old is gold.
