We were in Dwarka for the International Kite Festival, 2017 and the food blogger in us raised its greedy head. Besides we love covering tea places in Delhi NCR. It was tea time on a chilly winter evening and we Googled up for a café in the vicinity. Our search led to Chaiyum that was barely a kilometer from DDA ground near Sector 10 Metro Station. This is located at the ground floor of Pinnacle Mall inside the departmental store daily delight. This is more of a counter with some sitting arrangement. The simplicity of this place really impressed us.

They have some varieties of tea, a bakery counter as well as shakes and coolers. The staff was very hospitable and we ordered vegetarian brown bread sandwich, vada pao and desi chai. The sandwich and vada pao were freshly made and that itself made the dishes very tasty. The sandwich was not only fresh but also filling. The star of our meal was the chai. The tea was brewed like typical home style chai and was comparable to the premium tea that we keep having at Wagh Bakri Tea Lounge. The serving size is our only complaint. The large size tea at Chaiyum was barely enough to fill a standard cup.

We must admit that at Rs. 150 for this whole affair satiating both of us is a steal. This place goes in our list of hot tea places in Delhi.
