The Capital City Minstrels, the best choir in Delhi resumed performance after a break of 3 years. Harbinger of Christmas in Delhi, the program was concurrently sombre and joyous.
Last week, the Italian Embassy in New Delhi organised successive food and cultural events. It was a melange of programs each depicting a unique part of Italian refinement.
‘Night, Mother, a play directed by Vamika Sachar, has been adapted from a Pulitzer prizewinning drama by Marsha Norman. It deals with some difficult issues that we face, directly or vicariously. Given the heavy topic of the play, we were skeptical about the treatment. All we knew was that we had to watch it.
