Baarish Season 2 Chapter 2 Monsoon Cultural Festival
Delhi’s most immersive monsoon celebration returns with Baarish Season 2 | Chapter 2, a unique cultural festival by Excurators that brings together music, storytelling, crafts, textiles, puppetry, and sensory experiences inspired by the rains. Hosted at The Tivoli, the event celebrates the many moods and memories of the Indian monsoon through performances and interactive experiences.
A major highlight of the evening is a live performance by Shubha Mudgal and her ensemble, presenting the iconic Ab Ke Saawan, one of India’s most loved songs celebrating the monsoon. Visitors can also experience traditional rain songs by the Ao Naga Choir from Nagaland, the delightful puppetry production Garaj & Baras by Puppetshala Performing Arts, and a curated conversation by Aadyam Handwoven exploring the relationship between India’s weaving traditions and the monsoon.
The experience also includes a Grover Zampa Wine Masterclass, thoughtfully paired with the flavours and ambience of the season. Over the years, Baarish has evolved into a distinctive cultural event that beautifully blends music, heritage, craftsmanship, and storytelling into one memorable evening.
