Vadehra Art Gallery is proud to present “Blueprints of Illusion”, a solo exhibition showcasing the fine drawings of Balkrishna Doshi, India’s only Pritzker Prize-winning architect. On view from 15 October to 12 November 2024, this exhibition features 25 of Doshi’s intricate black-and-white drawings, created between 2014 and 2022. These artworks reflect Doshi’s unique architectural philosophy and artistic vision, blending elements of Indian miniatures, modernism, and surrealism.
On 15 October 2024, the exhibition preview will be accompanied by the launch of the monograph “The Art of Balkrishna Doshi”, authored by Dayanita Singh and architect Khushnu Panthaki Hoof.
