Culture Fridays: Sepake Angiama in Conversation at British Council
The British Council in Delhi, in partnership with the 15th edition of Experimenter Curators’ Hub 2026, presents a special conversation featuring internationally acclaimed curator Sepake Angiama, Artistic Director of the Institute of International Visual Arts (iniva), London.
Titled “What Are You Hiding Under Your Bed?”, the session will see Angiama in conversation with Rattanamol Singh Johal—co-convener of Experimenter Curators’ Hub 2026, art historian, curator, and Assistant Professor of History of Art at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
The discussion will explore contemporary curatorial practice, exhibition-making, artistic research, decolonial approaches, community-led commissioning, and the evolving role of curators in shaping cultural narratives and building more inclusive creative spaces.
The event is part of the British Council’s ongoing efforts to strengthen cultural exchange between India and the UK, making it an engaging evening for artists, curators, students, researchers, and anyone interested in contemporary art and museum practice.
