The monsoon season brings renewal and creativity, and there’s no better way to celebrate than at the inaugural bazaar of the season, The Monsoon Mela. Dastkar Monsoon Mela showcases over 100 participants, including new craft groups and exquisite handcrafted treasures.

- Textile Arts: Shibori, Bandhani, and Leheriya

- Paintings: Bhil, Gond, Pattachitra, Miniature, and Kalighat
- Jewelry: Dhokra and Silver
- Crafts: Glass and Bead Work, Khadi and Matka Silk, Wire Work Wall Hangings, Lacquer, and Wood Work

Indulge in a culinary journey featuring Rajasthan’s sweet and savory delights, Delhi’s iconic flavors, and Bihar’s native cuisine. Refreshing beverages will be available to complement your meal as you explore the bazaar’s lively atmosphere.
Cultural Performances
Experience the traditional folk dances of Manipur performed by the renowned group Panthoibi Jagoi Marup.
Workshops and Demonstrations
Join free handicraft workshops and demonstrations supported by the Australian High Commission, New Delhi. Learn traditional Indian crafts and help preserve these heritage skills.
- Papier Mache Craft of Kashmir by Chinar Valley Arts: Learn the age-old paper pulp painting technique with intricate patterns.
- Leheriya Craft of Rajasthan by Rajasthani Creations: Discover the colorful resist technique of folding, twisting, and dyeing fabrics to create zig-zag and wavy patterns.
