Presented as part of the 30th European Union Film Festival 2025, Memory Lane (De terugreis) is a tender Dutch film written by Marijn de Wit and Jelle de Jonge, and directed by Jelle de Jonge. The story follows an elderly couple driving across Europe to visit a dying friend. Along the way, they rediscover love and connection as they face the realities of aging and dementia.
A poignant exploration of companionship and memory, Memory Lane captures the beauty of shared lives and the fragility of time.
