G20 Film Festival

India Habitat Centre host the IHC-G20 Film Festival at the India Habitat Centre showcasing the rich cultures of G20 member countries, through a flavour of their cinema.

4 acclaimed feature films, 1 anime, 4 documentaries and a package of 8 short films will be screened from ten G20 Member countries.

Mr Amitabh Kant, the G20 Sherpa of India, will inaugurate the festival that kicks off with a screening of India’s Oscar-glory, RRR (2021). The much-acclaimed, Cannes-nominee, Decision to Leave (2021) from the Republic of Korea will be the closing film.

11 August, Friday

7:00pm Opening film Inaugural Address by Amitabh Kant, G20 Sherpa of India. Followed by screening of RRR (India/Telugu/2022/187 mins). Dir. S.S. Rajamouli.

12 August, Saturday

4:00pm Canadian Filmmakers Spotlight Climate and Conservation. A double bill of Indo- Canadian short films on environment. Collab. High Commission of Canada and CMS Vatavaran.
