Gharana Festival 2024 – A Celebration of Indian Classical Music

Join us for the Gharana Festival 2024 at the India Habitat Centre, a two-day celebration of Indian classical vocal music featuring performances by esteemed artists from various gharanas (musical traditions). This festival highlights the rare and unique compositions passed down through generations.
- Day 1 – 8th October:
- Vocal recital by Dr. Jasmeet Kaur, presenting rare compositions from the Benaras Gharana.
- Vocal recital by Vidushi Malavika Bhattacharya, showcasing the rich legacy of the Kairana Gharana.
- Day 2 – 9th October:
- Vocal recital by Dr. Richa Jain, performing rare compositions from the Rampur Sahaswan Gharana.
- Vocal recital by Pt. Ram Narayanan Jha, presenting the intricate compositions of the Benaras Gharana.
