Goa Film Festival 2025 in Delhi
Celebrate the vibrant cinema of Goa at the Goa Film Festival in Delhi, organized in collaboration with Goenkarancho Ekvot. The festival will take place at the India International Centre (IIC), New Delhi, from 21–23 August 2025 at 6:00 PM.
Festival Highlights
21 August 2025 – Inauguration & Opening Film
Pedru Poder (115 mins, 2020, Konkani with English Subtitles)
Director: Jojo D’Souza
A light-hearted yet realistic romantic comedy about Pedru, a traditional Goan baker who dreams of success and wealth. His relationship with Daisy, a wealthy girl with simple values, is tested by love, ambition, and deception. The film beautifully blends humor with a meaningful social message.
22 August 2025 – Feature Screening
Mogacho Korar (120 mins, 2025, Konkani with English Subtitles)
Director: Silverio Cardoza
Mogacho Korar (“Love’s Promise”) explores family bonds, especially the relationship between a daughter-in-law and mother-in-law. The film highlights the values of love, unity, and resilience in family life, offering a heartwarming cinematic experience.
