Delhi’s craft lovers and textile enthusiasts can look forward to a unique celebration of traditional craftsmanship as Husn-e-Karigari-e-Awadh arrives in the capital this July. Organised by Baragaon Weaves and Sanatkada, the two-day craft and weaves bazaar showcases the rich artistic traditions of the Awadh region and the skilled artisans who continue to keep these heritage crafts alive.
Designed as a first-of-its-kind initiative, the event creates a platform for visitors to engage directly with the cultural legacy of Awadh through its textiles, handcrafted products, and traditional artistic practices. The bazaar highlights the craftsmanship, creativity, and knowledge that have been passed down through generations, offering a deeper understanding of the region’s living heritage.
Visitors can explore a curated selection of crafts and weaves associated with Awadh while also witnessing live demonstrations by artisans. These demonstrations provide a rare opportunity to observe traditional techniques up close and learn about the stories, skills, and cultural significance behind each creation.
More than just a shopping experience, Husn-e-Karigari-e-Awadh aims to foster meaningful connections between artisans and audiences, encouraging visitors to discover the people, processes, and traditions behind the handmade objects on display.
