Is This My Circus? – Exhibition

Travancore Palace, New Delhi, September 2025: This September, Raseel Gujral Ansal presents Is This My Circus?, an immersive exhibition that blends art, legacy, and performance.

Conceived as a living question, the showcase explores the fluid boundaries between imagination and reality, tradition and technology, authorship and collaboration. At its core are Raseel’s artworks under her symbolic signature Sifar — visions born from dreams, refined through dialogue with AI, and brought to life by artisans in watercolour and sculptural forms.

Visitors are welcomed by the Devi, Diva, and Damsel sculptures, embodying divinity, spectacle, and vulnerability. Inside, the exhibition unfolds as a series of vignettes — My Raj, War of the Roses, Diamonds Are Forever, Brothers in Arms, Birds of a Feather, His Master’s Voice, and Rose Tinted Glasses — each questioning identity, power, vanity, and desire within life’s metaphorical circus.

Adding depth to this dialogue are works by her father, the legendary Satish Gujral, presented from her private collection, alongside six sculptural monkeys by Ketan Amin. Together, these voices weave a multi-layered theatre of paradox, where legacy meets innovation, and control collides with vulnerability.

Is This My Circus? is not just an exhibition — it is an experiential stage where masks slip, roles shift, and every creation becomes a shared act of imagination.
