Jaipur Literature Festival 2024

The ‘greatest literary show on Earth’, the Jaipur Literature Festival is a sumptuous feast of ideas. The past 16 years have seen it transform into a global literary phenomenon, having hosted nearly 2000 speakers and welcoming over a million book lovers from across India and the globe.
As the years pass and the Festival grows, our core values remain unchanged: to serve as a democratic platform offering access to all. Every year, the Festival brings together a diverse mix of the world’s greatest writers, thinkers, humanitarians, politicians, business leaders, sports people, and entertainers on one stage to champion the freedom to express and engage in thoughtful debate and dialogue.
Writers and Festival Directors Namita Gokhale and William Dalrymple, alongside Festival producer Teamwork Arts, invite speakers to take part in the five-day programme set in the historic and dynamic state capital Jaipur.
it is a true literary marathon and encompasses an impressive line-up of speakers, insightful sessions, readings, music, book signings, and the simultaneously held Jaipur BookMark and Jaipur Music Stage.
The Jaipur Literature Festival, or JLF, is an annual literary festival that takes place in the Indian city of Jaipur each year. It was founded in 2006. It is considered to be one of the world’s largest literary festivals.
The Jaipur Literature Festival 2024 is back at its customary home in Jaipur and is being held between the 1st – 5th of February 2024, with its characteristic flavour, substance, and scale, bringing together writers, readers, connoisseurs, influencers, and thinkers
February 1st – 3rd – The Jaipur Music Stage
The Jaipur Music Stage features a variety of leading artists from across the world and performances that blend genres and geographies.
February 4th – Gala Dinner Evening
A majestic evening inclusive of cultural performances and dinner.
February 5th – Writers’ Ball
A coming together of some of the world’s finest authors and speakers, who addressed the Festival, along with influencers, book-lovers, and thought-leaders. Musical performances by leading artists, conversations, cocktails, and an easy bonhomie under a glittering night sky make the Ball an occasion to treasure and remember forever.
