Monsoon Ragas 2025 – A Soulful Sitar & Sarod Concert by the Mohan Brothers
Experience the magic of the rains through the timeless beauty of Indian classical music with Monsoon Ragas, a mesmerizing Sitar and Sarod jugalbandi by the internationally renowned Mohan Brothers — Lakshay Mohan (Sitar) and Aayush Mohan (Sarod).
Returning after the success of their 2024 debut, the brothers once again bring to life the spirit of the monsoon through seasonal ragas traditionally associated with the rains. Their intricate melodic dialogues evoke the romance, vitality, and longing of the monsoon season.
This rare duet between Sitar and Sarod will be enriched by the rhythmic mastery of Pt. Ramkumar Mishra on Tabla and Pt. Fatehsingh Gangani on Pakhawaj, adding depth and intensity to this immersive performance.
About the Mohan Brothers
The Mohan Brothers are among the most celebrated young exponents of Indian classical instrumental music. They are the first Indian instrumentalists to perform at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles, and have graced global stages including the Royal Festival Hall, London, Berklee College of Music, and Sawai Gandharva Festival, Pune.
They have released acclaimed albums like Echoes from the Yellow Land and The Majestic Court (Times Music), and were mentored by the legendary Pt. Ravi Shankar.
Recognized for their soulful expression, technical brilliance, and commitment to spreading Indian classical music among global youth, the Mohan Brothers continue to redefine tradition for a new generation.
