Music in the Park

SPIC MACAY, SRF Foundation, and New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) bring back its much-awaited ‘Music in the Park’ series. The first concert of the said series’ 2024 season will be held on Saturday, 10th February 2024 at 3 pm in Nehru Park, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi. The concert will start with a Hindustani Flute Recital by Pandit Nityanand Haldipur, accompanied by Mithilesh Kumar Jha on Tabla. Following him on Sitar, we will have Ustad Shahid Parvez, accompanied by Akram Khan on Tabla.
SPIC MACAY- Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture amongst Youth is a voluntary youth movement that promotes the tangible & intangible aspects of Indian & world heritage by organizing programs and workshops of Indian Classical Music, Classical dance, folk music, folk dance, yog, meditation, crafts, and other aspects of Indian culture. It is a movement started in 1977 and has chapters in over 850 towns across the world. The core purpose of SPICMACAY is to have every child experience the inspiration and mysticism embodied in Indian and World heritage.
