Prakāsh – Music for a Cause

The evening is designed as three connected performances flowing into one meaningful journey — moving from cosmic sound, to the energy of spring, to deep inner awareness.

It begins with Anahad, a musical presentation inspired by the idea of the unstruck cosmic sound — the eternal vibration linked to Shiva as Nataraja, where sound is seen as the source of energy and creation. The performance brings together cosmic soundscapes rooted in classical music, led by Shri Arunangshu Chaudhury.

The second segment, Dancing Daffodils, is a thematic dance presentation by Anohita Chowdhury. Inspired by spring, it reflects renewal, hope, and the awakening that follows periods of stillness.

The evening concludes with The Third Eye, a classical Kathak performance by Harshita Sharma. The presentation symbolises wisdom and spiritual transcendence through the opening of Shiva’s third eye — reminding us that true vision comes not just from seeing, but from understanding and transforming through experience.

Together, these three performances create one artistic journey — from cosmic sound, to seasonal bloom, to inner vision.
