Somewhere I Have Never Travelled
Art Alive Gallery presents Radhika Surana’s first solo exhibition — Somewhere I Have Never Travelled, from 25th July to 20th August 2025, in New Delhi. Inspired by E.E. Cummings’ poetry, Surana’s deeply emotive textile-based works explore themes of human connection, memory, and nature.
The exhibition showcases hand embroidery and indigo-dyed artworks, blending traditional techniques with contemporary expression. Using French knots, seed stitches, and indigo vat dyeing, Surana evokes a powerful visual narrative of intimacy, renewal, and spiritual heritage. Her art draws from India’s rich legacy of natural dyeing and highlights the emotional labor behind every thread.
