The Grand Handloom Fair | For those of you who don’t know, Dastkar is a non-profit NGO working to support traditional Indian craftspeople, many of them women & based in villages they provide marketing platforms for them, and holds amazing exhibitions that bring together crafters, producer groups, environmental organizations, social activists & cultural performers with urban consumers, students and international buyers.
And, they’re holding one such exhibition this month too! At the Grand Handloom Fair by Dastkar, y’all can shop for handcrafted textiles, sarees, stalls, and all types of handmade apparel, from over 19 states! PLUS, y’all can feast on a range of Indian cuisines from different states, a ton of mouth-watering fare!
The best part is that all your shopping is going to be handmade with love, perfect for flaunting. So, mark the dates!
