The Shifting of Silence – A Contemporary Art Exhibition
The Shifting of Silence brings together 32 emerging contemporary artists from across India for a fundraising exhibition at Bikaner House, New Delhi. Presented by Blueprint12 and Space118 Art Foundation, the exhibition is curated by Saloni Doshi, founder of Space118.
Through painting, sculpture, installation, photography, and mixed-media works, the participating artists respond to the ecological, political, and social changes shaping our world today. The exhibition explores themes of memory, resilience, transformation, and the quieter ways in which people and landscapes absorb change over time.
Beyond the artworks, The Shifting of Silence also supports an important cause. Proceeds from the exhibition will contribute to the Space118 Fine Arts Grant, which provides financial support, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to emerging artists across India. For collectors, the exhibition offers an opportunity to discover new artistic voices while directly supporting the next generation of contemporary artists.
The exhibition also marks a collaboration between Blueprint12 and Space118 Art Foundation, two organisations known for supporting emerging artists and encouraging new conversations around contemporary art in India.
