The programming of the Week of Italian Cuisine of the Italian Cultural Centre of New Delhi will address the concept of sustainability through a narrative at different levels on the themes of eco-sustainable agriculture in its new forms, its impact on social life and communities, and the deep relationship between peasant cultures and culinary tradition as constitutive elements of identity.
Guests of the week will be the film historian and former director of the Torino Film Festival Stefano Francia di Celle, who will present a series of films and documentaries dedicated to the themes of the Week, and the Apulian chef Antonio Cera, inventor of Grani Futuri, a cultural movement that spreads the tradition of bread between sustainability, the fight against waste and the protection of biodiversity.
