With Her Hair Running Wild – A Solo Exhibition
Gallerie Nvya is presenting With Her Hair Running Wild is a solo exhibition showcasing key phases of Seema Kohli’s artistic journey, from intimate nighttime sketches and early colour experiments at Triveni to the bold palettes and intricate patterns of her mature practice today. The works weave stories of domestic rupture, feminine solidarity, and the reclaiming of artistic voice, drawing on undomesticated goddesses and impassioned gods to explore regeneration amidst stifling convention.
Through these paintings and drawings, Kohli presents narratives that celebrate creative freedom and the transformative power of feminine energy. The exhibition invites visitors to trace the evolution of her distinctive style while connecting with universal themes of identity, rebellion, and renewal.
