Venue: Golf Course Road, Gurgaon
Given the recent horror stories that one hears on Golf Course Road, thanks to the fatal combo of metro work and monsoon, this place is a driver’s nightmare.
But we were in the vicinity for professional reasons and stopped at Just for Chai for some refreshments to go with the weather.
The place has a rustic décor, what with fancy charpoys and such stuff. To go with the ambience, the masala chai and ginger chai that we ordered were just perfect. The pakoras that we ordered, while tasted fine, were expensive at Rs 149.
The service guys also seemed disinterested and lost. They were enjoying their evening chat and seemed disappointed in having a customer to attend.
We have been high on chai for long and some of our earlier experience of tea cafes are listed in this blog.
So we can say with some authority that the chai was good. Further, the place, being on the main road and not inside a mall or a market, is easily accessible.
We are surely coming back. They also have some tea leaves on sale.
