7 days with 40 degrees plus temperature roasts you and kills your appetite. We were a little averse to dal – butter chicken or any other Indian food. Nutriobox came as a cool option. They delivered so we did not have to leave the comfort of our homes.
Their menu has a host of simple dishes with balanced vegetarian and non-vegetarian items. We wanted to work up proteins and so stuck to non-vegetarian fare. We ordered Shrimp Cocktail as starter and Tangy Fish Salmon and their signature Mealbox as main course.
Their Mealbox is a unique arrangement where the diner can choose a combination of vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Our Mealbox contained a box of Caesar Salad with chicken, stuffed chicken breast, and a protein smoothie Wholesome we say!
In fact, all the dishes were wholesome. While the protein component was the focus, we loved the fact that a selection of greens in the dish provided the necessary fibre. Slices of bell peppers, broccoli, and rocket leaves gave a crunchy texture to the dishes. The dishes were simple and the seasoning was moderate. The brown rice in the main course dishes was well-cooked and the carbohydrate content was taken care of. The meal was, as we said, was complete.
We loved almost everything but found the Shrimp Cocktail spicy. The shrimps were topped with chili flakes. The Thousand Island dressing was also spiced with chili powder. Bit of a double whammy and this dish is definitely not for the faint-hearted.
It takes all kinds to make the world we say. And we are happy to be in a world with food options like Nutriobox. In fact, brownie points to them for on-time delivery.
