The Tea Totallers

We are big fans of tea and love exploring simple tea places in Delhi NCR  where one can go and sit, relax, sip chai and maybe have a snack or two along with tea. Our tea trails have led us to many a new recently opened tea places in Delhi Gurgaon. Another such Tea Cafe that we recently stumbled upon in GK M Block Market is Wagh Bakri Tea Lounge. We are regulars at Wagh Bakri Tea Lounge CP  and Lajpat Nagar  and for the longest time Wagh Bakri had been our adda where we sat and blogged over cups of tea.

The GK outlet is not easy to track. We had to use map and direction feature of zomato app linked via google maps even after parking the car in the market. One can easily miss this outlet as it is not prominent and there’s no big board or direction sign for this tea lounge. It is located besides Subway on first floor and we were guided by that. The decor is pleasant, seats are comfortable and overall vibe was positive and relaxing. 

The Menu

They have a long menu that has hot chai, iced teas, green tea, infusions and vegetarian snacks. We ordered a pot of lemongrass tea along with a spinach corn sandwich and a multigrain oriental vegetable sandwich. Spinach corn is our favourite among their sandwiches. They made it then and there and that’s why it was fresh and delicious. The tea had the right amount of kick along with subtle zesty aroma of lemongrass. We can never praise this tea enough, its one of the best in town. The tea was served with a khakra with each cup. This khakra is always crispy and goes well with any chai.

Our take home

They sell amazing range of green tea, masala tea, ice tea, ready to sip powdered tea sachets and also gift packs. We bought a couple of gift packs from this tea lounge before leaving.

We joyfully raise our cups to this place.
