It’s party season and we are out almost every other night. Partying of course and having oily canapés and heavy dinners. In this phase of health-harakiri, the Ramen Festival at The Grand, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi was like manna from heaven.
It is that time of the year. We are barely recovering from Diwali and it is almost Christmas! We have been getting a catena of invites for cake mixing ceremony. We recently attended a cute one at ITC Maurya and take this opportunity to convey our Season’s Greetings to all our followers.
The courtyard grill is back with their winter menu and we can’t keep cam. The alfresco setting, well stocked bar and piping hot kebabs are a foodie’s dream come true.
Bihari cuisine is still restricted to the amazing litti-chokha for most of us. Potbelly is perhaps the only chain up north that holds the bastion for this cuisine. We have loved the food at their Chanakyapuri and Shahpur Jat branches. Potbelly has a new outlet in Gurgaon and they are calling it The Potbelly Divine.
Monday instant was International Coffee Day and all coffee lovers have been upto coffee stuff. We have been high on tea-coffee and rose to the occasion at ITC Maurya, Chanakyapuri. It is a weeklong celebration here and they are serving some hot stuff prepared with Sunbean Gourmet Coffees. Sunbean is ITC’s coffee brand. Connaught Place has been sprouting food places last couple of years. But let’s face it, there are very few pocket friendly option that serves quality food. This evening we just chanced upon this roll shop around C Block on inner circle. Sadly no seating space here, which we badly needed after a frenzy shopping in this area. Nevertheless it was one of those days when we prioritized taste over comfort and quality. It was a compromise but was it worth?
“Jom” in Malay language means “go”. We are fans of Jom Jom Malay since inception a couple of years back. They are perhaps the only restaurant serving Malay food in Delhi NCR. We were back here last Friday evening to taste Jom Jom Malay’s fine Fri-yay affair.
Ibis is celebrating its 10th anniversary. They have been on Golf Course Road in Gurgaon since a decade. Needless to say they have suffered the revamp mayhem of this place and have survived that. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger they say. They would have only emerged strength to strength and we were invited for a staycation at Ibis to mark this event.
Bengali Sweet House at Bengali Market has a lot of heritage. It has been around since pre-independence era. We are not regulars here but have dropped by a few times. Now we wonder why!
Ottimo the Italian restaurant at ITC Maurya has opened gates for lunch over weekends. Initially serving only dinner, Ottimo is serving lunch on Saturdays and have Sunday brunch, well on Sundays. The restaurant is planning to open all week long for lunch and we can’t be happier about it. Here is why.

The Great Kabab Factory at Radisson is celebrating its 20th anniversary and has a special menu. The commemorative menu comprises their most popular kababs over the years. Being suckers for kababs, we just had to check this out. While they are running the menu at all their branches, for us, this time it was Radisson Blu Marina Hotel, Connaught Place.
The Wine Company at Cyber Hub, Gurgaon is celebrating its 4th anniversary with a brand refresh and an all new menu curated by celebrity chef Sarah Todd. She was present here last Saturday evening and hosted a wine pairing event over drinks and dinner. We had heard about The Wine Company and given the involvement of Sarah Todd, were expecting a blast.
