Anant Samagam 2026
Aalekh Foundation presents Anant Samagam – Edition 2, a three-day cultural festival celebrating India’s rich artistic traditions. After the success of its first edition, the festival returns in January 2026 at Travancore Palace, New Delhi.
Anant Samagam 2026 brings together the cultural heritage of Rajasthan, West Bengal, and Assam, highlighting the deep connections between these regions through art, textiles, music, food, and ideas. The festival focuses on how traditional practices continue to evolve in contemporary times.
Visitors can experience a wide range of cultural forms, including handloom and craft showcases featuring Bandhani, Jamdani, and Muga silk. The festival also presents curated fashion showcases by well-known designers, regional food experiences, and evening music performances by artists from different parts of India.
A special visual art exhibition, curated in collaboration with Sameksha Art Gallery, will feature contemporary artists exploring themes of memory, material culture, and regional identity. In addition, panel discussions and cultural conversations will provide space for meaningful dialogue on heritage, creativity, and modern interpretations of culture.
Anant Samagam aims to support emerging artists and create a platform where tradition and contemporary expression come together. It is designed as an inclusive cultural experience for artists, institutions, and the public.
