IHC Samanvay 2026

February 6 - February 8

IHC Samanvay 2026 returns to New Delhi with the theme “This Blessed Land | Yeh Dharti Apni”, celebrating the deep and enduring relationship between people, place, and India’s living landscapes. The festival focuses on India’s mountains, forests, deserts, rivers, and coastlines, and the cultures and communities they sustain.

Held over three days at India Habitat Centre, the festival presents a thoughtful programme of films, conversations, music, and collective reflection, bringing together leading voices from the fields of environment, literature, conservation, and public life. Through dialogue and storytelling, IHC Samanvay explores how land, language, memory, and culture remain deeply interconnected.

The 2026 edition features a keynote address by Sunita Narain, along with distinguished speakers and participants including Mike Pandey, Vivek Menon, Namita Gokhale, Navtej Sarna, Stephen Alter, William Dalrymple, Mamang Dai, Ilse Köhler-Rollefson, Milan Moudgil, Abhishek Srivastava, Dr Sunita Reddy, Neha Sinha, and others. Together, they reflect on ecological responsibility, cultural continuity, and shared futures.

IHC Samanvay is a free and open public festival, offering an inclusive space to engage with India’s languages, landscapes, and lived realities.
