KNMA Presents ‘Travelling Borobari’ – A Three-Evening Live Public Installation

The Kiran Nadar Museum of Art (KNMA) invites Delhi audiences to experience Travelling Borobari, an immersive live public installation by Project Natta Company that brings together music, storytelling, movement, percussion, and collective memory in an evolving performance space.
Conceptualised by artist and researcher Jit Natta, the project draws inspiration from the travelling performance traditions of undivided Bengal. It reimagines Borobari as a living, moving gathering space shaped through participation and performance. Through sound, movement, and community-led storytelling, the work explores themes of migration, resilience, memory, and shared cultural histories.
The performance features Mira Natta Biswas, Tamalika Biswas, Ratan Natta, Mukul Natta, and Shyani Saha, creating a layered experience that blends live archives with contemporary artistic expression. Set within an installation environment at KNMA, the project invites audiences to engage not just as viewers, but as participants within an unfolding cultural space.
For anyone interested in experimental performance, community storytelling, folk traditions, and immersive art experiences, Travelling Borobari promises a unique addition to Delhi’s cultural calendar this month.
