A beautiful two-day celebration of Bengal’s rich artistic legacy, bringing together folk music and classical storytelling through dance. From soulful songs rooted in everyday life to timeless tales of love and devotion, this festival offers a glimpse into the cultural soul of Bengal.

🌿 Day 1 Details – 23 May | Folk Songs: Facets of Bengal

Bengal’s folk music is as diverse as its landscape. With dialects and traditions shifting every few kilometres, each region has its own unique musical flavour. This evening showcases a vibrant selection of folk songs spanning North to South Bengal, capturing the spirit of its people.

Conceptualised by Mihir Basu and presented by Mihir Basu and Bishakha Basu, the performance promises an authentic and immersive musical experience.

💃 Day 2 Details – 24 May | Dance Drama: Shree Radhar Manbhanjan

The second evening brings a graceful dance drama centred on the eternal bond between Shree Radha and Shree Krishna. As emotions of love, longing, and conflict unfold, the story explores how even divine relationships are touched by human feelings.

Based on the celebrated work of Pranab Roy and Robin Chatterjee, and directed by Sougata Kundu, the performance is presented by the BARNALI group from Krishnanagar, West Bengal.
