Remembering Manga – Fundraiser & Live Performance
Internationally acclaimed contemporary folk trio The Barmer Boys present a special fundraiser tribute to the late Mangey Khan, celebrating his life, music, and lasting legacy.
Titled “Remembering Manga”, this intimate evening brings together community, music lovers, and admirers of the Manganiyar folk tradition of Rajasthan. The event begins with a community fundraiser, followed by a live performance by The Barmer Boys. All donations collected will directly support Mangey Khan’s family and help preserve his musical legacy. A Razorpay QR code will be available at the venue for contributions.
Led by Mangey Khan until his passing in 2024, The Barmer Boys are known globally for blending Sufi kalaams, devotional bhajans, and desert folk ballads with traditional instruments such as the kamaicha, dholak, khartal, and morchang, along with contemporary rhythms.
