Surajkund International Crafts Mela-2026
The 39th Surajkund International Crafts Mela 2026 is a major cultural fair that celebrates traditional crafts, folk arts, music, dance, and cuisine from India and around the world. The event brings together artisans, craftspersons, and cultural troupes to showcase handmade textiles, handicrafts, performances, and regional food in a vibrant open-air setting.
Jointly hosted by the Ministry of Tourism & Culture, Ministry of External Affairs, Ministry of Textiles, Indian Council for Cultural Relations, and the Government of Haryana, the mela highlights India’s rich heritage while also welcoming participation from many other countries. In the previous edition, over 44 countries and 600+ foreign artists took part, underlining the fair’s international scale and appeal.
The Government of Haryana has invited cultural troupes of about 10–15 members and artisans who wish to present their crafts, performances, and traditions at the 39th edition. Participants get a platform to reach large audiences, engage in cultural exchange, and connect with buyers, institutions, and visitors interested in authentic handmade work.
