Venue: Kitty Su, The Lalit Delhi
Date: 21st July 2017
Work Hard and Party Harder – driven by the mantra we head to Kitty Su this Friday evening. Besides being invited to a party at Delhi’s most popular night club, there was another compelling reason. Desperados, world famous tequila flavoured beer was being launched in Delhi. Moreover TroyBoi, London based Trap artist who has composed the jingle for the brand was performing for the first time in India at Kitty Su at The Lalit.
After regular frisking and a few Namastes by bouncers and ushering team we entered this huge red and black zone. Since the night was still warming up and the dance floor had yet to be swarmed by party people, we headed to the bar. Given the humid weather and the beer launch, we kept our whisky fascination aside and kick started the evening with chilled bottles of Desperado beer. The French origin, zesty flavored Desperado beer is brewed with Tequila and has no bitterness of typical beer. We loved the the lemony sweetness and slightly spicy notes of Desperado beer.
Not just taste, the beer gives a pretty decent high, just right to get you moving on the dance floor. We joined the crowed after gulping down a couple of bottles and the foot tapping music at Kitty Su helped us forget the crazy work week we had. From trance to hip hop to world music it was a blend of fantastic rhythms – such a break from chart toppers that you keep listening on the radio. It’s a lovely feeling when a piece of music is unfamiliar but you can still connect with it. We were not sure, if it was the beer or the music or a heady combination of both, we realised this was the best Friday night we have had lately.
After another hour of dancing over Desperado beer and taking break for digging into our gigantic chicken tikka pizza, we phoned our cabby and called it a night. We say Cheers to the freakin weekend and to Desperado beer.
P.S. Desperado Beer is now available at all retail outlets in Delhi.
