We have drooled over the pristine beach photos of Cyprus. And we recently drooled over Cypriot food at the Cyprus Food Festival that is being held during dinner at Ottimo, ITC Maurya. The festival is on till 16th December, 2018 and we were privy to a curtain-raiser last Friday.
It’s party season and we are out almost every other night. Partying of course and having oily canapés and heavy dinners. In this phase of health-harakiri, the Ramen Festival at The Grand, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi was like manna from heaven.
We had been invited to visit the Tigarth Art Festival across Himachal Pradesh. In this process we met Frank Schlichtmann, the curator of the art project In the Woods-2 or ITW-2. He also runs a lodge 4Rooms and a cafe 4Tables at Gunehar. But there is a lot more happening here. We are plain lucky that we got to witness Frank’s mind blowing work in bringing together the diverse concepts of art and hospitality.
It is that time of the year. We are barely recovering from Diwali and it is almost Christmas! We have been getting a catena of invites for cake mixing ceremony. We recently attended a cute one at ITC Maurya and take this opportunity to convey our Season’s Greetings to all our followers.

This evening we just chanced upon this roll shop around C Block on inner circle. Sadly no seating space here, which we badly needed after a frenzy shopping in this area. Nevertheless it was one of those days when we prioritized taste over comfort and quality. It was a compromise but was it worth?

“Jom” in Malay language means “go”. We are fans of Jom Jom Malay since inception a couple of years back. They are perhaps the only restaurant serving Malay food in Delhi NCR. We were back here last Friday evening to taste Jom Jom Malay’s fine Fri-yay affair.
Ibis is celebrating its 10th anniversary. They have been on Golf Course Road in Gurgaon since a decade. Needless to say they have suffered the revamp mayhem of this place and have survived that. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger they say. They would have only emerged strength to strength and we were invited for a staycation at Ibis to mark this event.
Bengali Sweet House at Bengali Market, a heritage spot since pre-independence. We’ve visited a few times, but now we wonder why! Disappointing food quality.
