The Cafe opens at 4 pm perhaps because it was a British habit to go out for tea. The moment we stepped inside, we were transported to that era.

They have two hotels in Hyderabad and both looked promising online. We booked the more central location in the upscale Banjara Hills. Given that it was our first time with this chain, it was a leap of holiday faith.

Motilal Nehru, the father to our first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi’s grandfather, had bought the mansion Anand Bhavan in Allahabad as his family home. While we had heard about this place, given the very little publicity they do, locals were not very aware of this place. Nonetheless, we figured it out and we are glad we did. To start – it is indeed an offbeat activity in Ranthambore.

We came to know about Andretta in terms of the pottery studio here – Andretta Pottery. Andretta Pottery exhibit in Delhi NCR off and on and we were so wistful about seeing the real studio someday, which, perhaps is the first studio pottery centre in India.
Morni Hills is a small hilly hamlet and the most scenic part of Haryana. Perfect for trekking, hiking, and picnic, this lush green enclave at the foothills of the Shivalik Mountain Ranges is quite popular among locals and tourists alike.
This one is for all those who are looking for a cafe recommendations in Dharmashala. Mama’s Kitchen in Mcleodganj is run by this Tibetan lady, with lovely long braid, and her sons. They also call themselves J.J. in Exile. Smallish place, only couple of tables, but great vibes.
Did you know that there is a proper marshland off Noida? Its the Okhla Bird Sanctuary that is home to about 200 species if migratory birds from autumn to winter. Once inside we were almost transported to scenes from Africa. Ornithologist Mr. Singh took us on a bird walk inside the sanctuary and showed us many species. It made waking up early on a winter morning so worthwhile!
Most of us know Macao for the casino Venetian. But there is lot more here. Pristine beaches, Portuguese and Chinese culture and great food – different yet very friendly with Indian taste buds. Macao Tourism oriented us to all this between 30th November and 2nd December 2018 during their exhibition at CyberHub, Gurgaon. We dropped by and saw a new side to Macao unfolding before our eyes.
