Amar Jyoti: An Evening of Classical Music
Celebrate India’s musical heritage with the Pandit Chatur Lal Festival, bringing together some of the country’s finest classical musicians for an evening of traditional music and contemporary ensemble sounds.
The evening features Padma Bhushan and Grammy Awardee Pt. Vishwamohan Bhatt on Mohan Veena and Pt. Salil Bhatt on Satvik Veena, accompanied by Pranshu Chatur Lal on tabla.
Also featured is ‘Antar Atma’, an ensemble bringing together vocalists Pt. Ritesh Rajnish Mishra and Pt. Rajnish Mishra, percussionist Pranshu Chatur Lal, harmonium player Sumit Mishra, keyboardist Krishna Madan and guitarist Pranay Verma.
Presented by the Pandit Chatur Lal Memorial Society and Indian Oil Corporation Ltd, the evening promises a mix of Hindustani classical music, instrumental virtuosity and an ensemble performance celebrating India’s musical traditions.
