Its 2 in the night. I’m dead tired from my days work, strenuous workout in the morning, last minute packing and driving but the enthusiasm of going out of town is just not letting me sleep. In two hours from now, I’ll be on my way to Chakrata – a secluded hill station in Dehradun, Uttaranchal. We are starting from Delhi at 4.30 in the morning.
I was concerned about the fact that before going I’ll barely get 2-3 hours of sleep but strange are the ways of this heart n mind – It just doesn’t let me sleep.
I don’t remember when was the last time I went out of town with my school buddies. Call it reunion or life coming a full circle – it’s got me really excited and I know it’s gonna be fun.
Delhi is extremely cold these days. I can imagine how cold Chakrata would be. Current temperature is around 6-10 degrees C.
