While Jungle Safari is the thing to do at Ranthambore, a visit to Dastkar, Ranthambore is highly recommended. Dastkar Ranthambore evolved out of a need to rebuild the communities in Sawai Madhopur area of Rajasthan who had been displaced due to the creation of Ranthambore National Park for endangered tigers.

We visited the store and experience centre on our last visit to Ranthambore and came back enriched with more knowledge about block printing and other Indian handicrafts. The quaint, peaceful and very green store is in sync with the forest and natural life of Ranthambore.
