Delhi Times Fashion Week just concluded at Roseate House, Aerocity. The lineup for this 3-day sartorial extravaganza by Times of India group was impressive. Ace designer Ritu Beri was closing the show on the concluding evening and her show just couldn’t be missed.

Cinépolis has collaborated with the acclaimed Chef Saransh Goila to revamp their menu. We were invited for the launch of NEW MENU for FOODIES at Cinépolis, Saket. To keep up with changing tastes of consumers, they have added a host of new items on their menu. The new menu is available at all Cinépolis theatres across the country.

14th Mahindra Excellence in Theatre Awards (META), 2019 concluded with a grand awards night. Kamani Auditorium was full to the brim with META team, META jury, actors and theatre lovers to watch this annual extravaganza. The event had a star studded setting what with luminaries from the field of theatre coming together for the love of the art. Ila Arun, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Sushma Seth, Swaroopa Ghosh and many other thespians were on the Red Carpet for the META finale.

It was heartening to see that beauty is not only skin-deep any more. We are talking about the fbb Colors Femina Miss India North 2019 finale at Orana Conventions, Gurgaon. As part of the invited media for the event, we were most impressed with the open-minded definition of beauty that is gradually percolating in the Indian mindset as well.

META is a competition and we had watched one of contenders, “Bhagi Hui Ladkiyan” at American Centre a while back. While recently released Bohemian Rhapsody is still running in cinema halls, we watched a musical play based on the band Queen and its famous lead singer with Indian roots, Freddie Mercury. The musical play was organised to spread awareness on cervical cancer.
IITF – Trade Fair 2018 drops curtains today
Trade Fair 2018 has evoked a lot of curiosity. Given that most of Pragati Maidan is under renovation, the fair is 1/4th the original size. It drops curtains on 27th November 2018. Given that tickets are not being sold at the venue and are only available at select Metro Stations, or online, it is indeed a bit of a hassle. Is it worth?

The Reel Canada – Festival of Canadian Films in Delhi
The High Commission of Canada and Habitat Film Club have collaborated to bring THE REEL CANADA, a bouquet of Canadian films for Delhi audience. Mark our words; since we don’t get to see too many films from this country sitting in Delhi, this is a rare treat. It is a 4-days festival, 18 – 21 July 2018 at India Habitat Centre.
